Flashnet vs deBridge for swaps

For swaps across chains. Checked October 27, 2026.

The short answer

Choose Flashnet if your wallet needs Bitcoin, Lightning, XRP or Zcash, or wants swaps funded by a plain transfer rather than a transaction against a swap contract.

Choose deBridge if your users swap across EVM chains, Solana and Tron, you want a rate guaranteed at signing, or you want hooks that act after the swap.

How each works

Flashnet

Users send to the address on a quote, or to their own permanent address, and Flashnet settles on the destination network, filling from onchain liquidity and its own markets. It holds no user balances; its settlement workers run in AWS Nitro enclaves whose identity integrators can verify.

deBridge

The user signs a transaction that locks funds in deBridge's contract on the source chain. A solver fills the order on the destination chain from its own liquidity, then unlocks the locked funds through deBridge's messaging.

Orders
Swap with a plain transferYesEvery quote returns a deposit address; paying it creates the order. No wallet connection, approval or contract call.SourceNoEvery order is a transaction the user signs. No deposit-address flow is documented.Source
Firm quotesYesA quote's price holds for 2 minutes within your slippage. Fixed-output quotes commit to the amount out.SourceYesThe quoted rate is guaranteed if the user signs within about 30 seconds.Source
Exact-output quotesPartlyInto Lightning from most assets, and from Lightning into most. Fixed-output quotes, for approved partners, commit to the amount out.SourceYesA fixed amount out, with the amount in worked out for you; on same-chain swaps the amount out is a minimum.Source
Any token by addressYesAny SPL or ERC-20 token by address, in or out, on Solana and EVM chains, routed through a stablecoin on its own chain.SourceYesAny token with DEX liquidity indexed by aggregators such as 1inch or Jupiter, settled through reserve assets.Source
Same-chain swapsYesSuch as USDC into BONK on Solana, priced against Jupiter on Solana and DEX venues on EVM chains.SourceYesThrough a separate same-chain swap API, including on Solana and Tron.Source
Automatic refundsYesOrders that can't fill within the quote's bounds go back to the refund address you set.SourcePartlyBy default the user cancels on the destination chain. Auto-cancel needs deBridge's approval, and refunds usually arrive as USDC.Source

Where Flashnet wins

What wallets running swaps run into with deBridge:

  • Every swap is a transaction the user signs against deBridge's contract; there's no swapping by plain transfer.
  • No Bitcoin, Lightning, XRP or Zcash.
  • An unfilled order waits for the user to cancel it on the destination chain unless deBridge enables auto-cancel, and refunds usually arrive as USDC.

Where deBridge is strong

  • Rates guaranteed at signing, filled by solvers with no pool of locked liquidity to drain.
  • Exact-output quotes, with the amount in worked out for you.
  • Hooks that run a contract call after the swap, such as a deposit into a lending market.

Questions

Does deBridge support Bitcoin swaps?

No. deBridge lists EVM chains, Solana and TRON. Flashnet swaps native Bitcoin, Lightning, XRP and Zcash alongside EVM chains, Solana and Tron.

What does deBridge charge for a swap?

A cross-chain order pays a flat fee in the source chain's gas token, such as 0.001 ETH or 0.015 SOL, plus 4 bps, before solver margin and gas. Flashnet sets its platform fee per partner and route and itemizes it on every quote.

Does every deBridge swap need a wallet signature?

Yes. Each order is a transaction the user signs against deBridge's contract on the source chain. A Flashnet quote returns an address the wallet pays with a plain transfer, and EVM quotes can include the unsigned transaction if you'd rather send that.
