Flashnet vs NEAR Intents for swaps

For swaps across chains. Checked October 27, 2026.

The short answer

Choose Flashnet if your wallet needs Lightning, long-tail tokens by address on Solana and EVM chains, Bitcoin credited before confirmation, or status by webhook.

Choose NEAR Intents if you want market makers competing on every quote, low list fees, or chains such as TON or Stellar.

How each works

Flashnet

Users send to the address on a quote, or to their own permanent address, and Flashnet settles on the destination network, filling from onchain liquidity and its own markets. It holds no user balances; its settlement workers run in AWS Nitro enclaves whose identity integrators can verify.

NEAR Intents

Through its 1Click API, market makers compete to quote each swap, which settles atomically on NEAR's verifier contract. Assets from other chains are bridged into NEAR Intents and withdrawn to the destination chain.

Where Flashnet wins

What wallets running swaps run into with NEAR Intents:

  • Tokens come from 1Click's list; there's no swapping a token by its contract address.
  • No Lightning, and Bitcoin waits to be mined, which the API puts at around an hour.
  • No webhooks: integrations poll for status.

Where NEAR Intents is strong

  • One of the widest chain lists, from EVM chains to Bitcoin forks, Solana, Tron, TON, XRP and Stellar.
  • Market makers compete on every quote, and settlement is atomic on NEAR.
  • Low list fees, with 1 bp on stablecoin and same-asset routes, and exact-output swaps.

Questions

How are NEAR Intents swaps priced?

Market makers compete to quote each 1Click swap, which settles atomically on NEAR. 1Click charges 20 bps with an API key (1 bp on stablecoin and same-asset routes) or 25 bps without, plus a 0.0001% protocol fee. Flashnet sets its platform fee per partner and route and itemizes it on every quote.

Can NEAR Intents swap any token?

1Click swaps the tokens on its list, named by asset ID; its docs describe no way to name a token by contract address. Flashnet takes any SPL or ERC-20 token by address, in or out, on Solana and EVM chains, routed through a stablecoin on the token's own chain.

Does NEAR Intents support Lightning?

Lightning isn't among the chains NEAR Intents lists. Flashnet swaps into and out of Lightning and Bitcoin L1, and can credit eligible Bitcoin deposits before the first confirmation.
